On the site of an existing derelict bungalow, the proposal involved a contemporary new build dwelling, built using ICF construction technology. The sustainable home uses ground source heating and photovoltaic solar panels. Varying land levels and existing protected trees were the main site constraints, but these were seamlessly incorporated into the design. Overall the design provides for a family home providing five bedrooms, numerous bathrooms, open plan kitchen and dining room and an entertainment room.
